Functional Movements Training Course
It is our experience that new bootcamp members- regardless of fitness level, require a great deal of attention and coaching to become comfortable with our bootcamp program. With the fast pace of our bootcamp programs it can be difficult for our trainers to address the individual form issues of each client. Even though our bootcamp classes are designed to handle a wide variety of fitness levels, our trainers are limited in the ability to work with individuals on a personal level for long periods of time.
Body positioning and proper biomechanics set the foundation for maximal muscle growth. Even elite body builders who workout every day look for ways to improve form. Slight adjustment in your training can make major impacts in the development of your muscle tone. As you may know muscle tone creates an anabolic atmosphere and will increase your body's metabolism.
To ensure that every client receives maximum benefits in their training Pinnacle Fitness Bootcamp requires each client to take this course at least once. Veteran clients can also retake this course if they wish to work on their form.
Details:
Each session will cover our basic fundamental exercises: (squats, power cleans, lunges, push ups, rows, curls, planks, & various crunches and core movements). The exercises will be broken down into steps and imbalances will be addressed and corrected. You will receive a rubric handout explaining the proper form and improper form of each major exercise covered. This is a learning course and not a bootcamp, so you will be given the opportunity to ask questions on form and athletic training because of the class like setting. You will also know where you personally are rated in regards to your form for each exercise given before you leave the course.
It is a requirement for all new members to go through our Functional Movement Training Course within their 1st 2 months of training. We ask that you please register right away. We hold this course once per month and allow only 8 people to register, so be sure to register as soon as you can. This course will help you eliminate questions and concerns about your neck, back, knees, and hips while performing your exercise. Cost- $25
The Decatur Functional Movements Training Course is held @7:00 AM every 2nd Saturday of the month.
The Smyrna Functional MovementsTraining Course is held @7:00 AM every 3rd Saturday of the month.
